Terry Hunsucker

Born July 26, 1949

Died January 27, 2014

Terry Hunsucker graduated in 1967 from Winchester Community High School serving as class president.  He went on to Ball State University excelling in business management.  Terry took a job with Mars Corporation where he worked his way up to the Vice President position.  In addition to his philanthropy in education, Terry has most recently been a driving force in Winchester with the support of the local animal shelter, the placement of new benches around the Town Square and as an avid supporter of the June Fest and the Dickens Christmas on the Square festival.  His leadership helped establish the Randolph County Quilt Train.  Terry helped in creating the Town Square Community Center and the Town Square Business Center.  Unfortunately, Terry's lengthy battle with cancer ended his life-long commitment to his beloved community.  In recognition of Terry's philanthropy and civic involvement in East Central Indiana, Governor Mike Pence awarded Terry a Sagamore of the Wabash in October 2013.  This is Indiana's highest civilian honor.
