The Randolph County Historical Society, Inc., operates a museum and library in Winchester.  The home was built in 1858 by Carey Goodrich, a Winchester attorney, and was purchased on May 11, 1968 to establish a museum.  A modern addition that can hold small venues was added in the late 1990's.  The museum holds a variety of interesting artifacts and includes genealogical binders, cemetery and obituary collections, church records, and an extensive print and microfilm newspaper collection.  More information can be found on Facebook or at their website
